Chef Ivano Picardi, after years of collaboration with renowned Italian and foreign restaurants, has opened with its partner Danilo Saccenti in Naples (his home town) the prestigious “Osteria del Mare” restaurant, located just a short walk from the seafront Caracciolo. The restaurant is faithful to traditional Neapolitan cuisine and has wanted to transfer the nuts, contaminations of various countries and starred chefs with whom it has collaborated to its dishes, and then revisit them with their own personal touch.
From Osteria del Mare, among the best seafood restaurants in Naples, each dish created by the chef speaks of a life experience of a visited place, a time of ecstasy, taste and flavor, sublimated by the products at km 0 and of the catch of the day.
Each element of the dish is exalted by the strictly Campania products: from Pomegranate tomatoes to Sorrento lemons, to the pasta of the Gragnano crusher.
All this results in a culinary experience of the highest level that few restaurants can return to true Neapolitan cuisine.
